Committed to Sustainability with Reliable Recycling Services.

Our ability to sort waste material using sorting lines, hand sorting and other methods helps us to maximize recyclables and drastically reduce any negative impacts to the environment as well as aid in supporting our customers with their recycling and re-use efforts.

Outstanding Results.

Our recycling systems and partnerships with transfer stations/material recovery facilities allow us to efficiently recycle over 90%-95% of the materials that we receive from construction and demolition sites and over 85% of all materials that are sent to transfer stations.

Responsible Recycling for Businesses & Communities.

Our steadfast focus on separating recyclables has translated to a steady percentage increase in waste diversion from landfill year-after-year.

Our team actively continues to investigate, pursue and implement innovative and cutting-edge technologies to improve our business activities and reduce our collective ecological footprint.

Greenway effectively recovers commodities and recyclables such as scrap metal, copper, ferrous iron, non-ferrous iron, cardboard, plastics and wood from its various waste streams allowing us to pass on cost savings to our customers and in some cases rebates back to the customer depending on volumes.

Helping You Divert Waste from Landfills.

We have formed various partnerships and strategic alliances with multiple companies across Canada. The goal is to move toward a greener way of operating and diverting as much material from landfill.

When your waste is recycled, it is diverted from landfills and incinerators, reducing environmental harm and conserving valuable resources. Instead of contributing to growing landfill sites or releasing harmful emissions through burning, recycling ensures that materials like paper, plastic, metal, and glass are repurposed into new products. This not only minimizes waste accumulation but also decreases the demand for raw materials, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.

By choosing recycling over disposal, we take a step toward a more sustainable future, promoting a circular economy where waste is transformed into reusable resources.

Cost is always a concern especially when discussing the bottom line. While some material may be cost effective to recycle, others may not be at the present time. This is why our Lean Green® programs are custom tailored to suit each one of our customers no matter their size, industry or waste output.

We ensure that products are recycled where feasible while also protecting your bottom line, depending on your commitment to the environment.

zero waste zone logo

A Zero Waste facility means that 90% or more of the waste produced at the facility is diverted from landfills or incinerators. While this may seem unachievable, inconvenient or too expensive, the process of converting your business to a Zero Waste facility may be simple, cost-effective and potentially cheaper than your current waste management solution.

Of course, the biggest advantage of initiating a recycling program or becoming a Zero Waste facility is a greener, healthier, sustainable future.

Efficient Recycling Solutions for a Cleaner Environment.

In 2024, over 85% of the material we received, removed or processed was diverted from landfill. This was only possible because of our partnerships and alliances that we were able to achieve such an aggressive diversion rate.

By sorting and recovering materials out of mixed waste streams, we are able to recover up to 100% of recyclable materials, depending on the composition of the waste material. Not only have our partnerships resulted in such amazing diversion rates, but they have also allowed us to focus on a plethora of recyclable materials and items including but not limited to: metals, plastics, wood, glass, paper fibers, electronics, fabrics, etc.

We are able to handle any type of waste or recyclable material and find an alternative use for it. We are fully licensed to handle hazardous materials, asbestos and contaminated soil as well. All these waste streams are dealt with appropriately and effectively. End-of-life products or slightly used materials are common and we deal with these items by reusing them if possible. In the past we have dealt with various non-profit organizations to find these products new homes or uses.
